Lord, I hate mornings.
My eldest doesn't seem to hate them as much - she wakes up cheerful, either before her alarm or setting it earlier so she can torment me longer.
The little one, however, is in the living room where she is "waking up" a bit before school. Next year might be fun with her having to actually wake up early for the bus. But, in the meantime, I really appreciate her...
Anyway, seeding has progressed. The canola is pretty much entirely in - there's a 9 acre chunk that needs to be sown yet, but mostly, we're in. So that is just about 7/8 of the whole crop in. We hope to switch into the oats as of this morning.
Dale will be out the door really shortly - trying to balance last night's frost with today's wind and get a decent enough day to spray. There is a little pressure there - the crop is already seeded, so if we're going to get it sprayed at this time, it has to be done before the crop is up. At least he's mostly caught up, so hopefully we can squeeze in enough spraying to finish. If not, it makes the incrop agronomy more challenging, but not impossible.
We'd like to have everything accomplished, more or less, before it snows on Monday. Parents, if this is the weather you're bringing, you won't be welcome...
